The moon goes from new moon to full moon back to new moon about every month.
It is 27 1/3 days, 29 1/2 days.

My chemistry is a litte rusty but I believe that Bromine is unusual because it sublimates - goes from solid phase to gaseous phase without going through liquid phase.
Elements and compounds can move from one phase to another phase when physical forces are present.
The proper use of the term refers to the timing difference between voltages in a multi-phase power system. This makes more sense if you know that one complete AC cycle is divided up into 360 degrees, the same as a circle is. At 0 deg. the voltage is zero. At 90 deg. the voltage hits the positive peak. At 180 deg. the voltage falls back to zero. At 270 degrees the voltage falls to the negative peak. At 360 (same as zero) degrees, the voltage rises back up to zero, then the whole process repeats. In a 3-phase power system, each of the three hot conductors carry a voltage that is offset 120 degrees, or 1/3 of a cycle, from the next conductor. The voltage on each wire peaks at a slightly different time. However, in everyday use, the term phase has also come to mean which one of the three wires you want, as in "connect phase A to terminal 6", etc. It is even used in 240 volt (US) household power systems, where there are two different hot wires, even though it is technically not a multi-phase power system. So, if an electrician says phase, he most likely means one of the three hot wires in a 3-phase system.
Biogeochemical cycles are basically of two types: a) Gaseous cycles like carbon (as carbon dioxide), oxygen, nitrogen, etc. b) Sedimentary cycles like sulphur, phosphorus, etc. In gaseous cycles, the elements have a main reservoir in the gaseous phase, and the reservoir pool is the atmosphere or water. The biogenetic materials involved in circulation pass through a gaseous phase before completing the cycle. In sedimentary cycles, the elements main reservoir pool is lithosphere and the biogenetic materials involved in circulation are non-gaseous. The sedimentary cycles are usually very slow as the elements may get locked up in rocks and go out of circulation for long periods.
The moon displays a complete cycle of all its phases every 29.53 days.
We don't know where you're calling the beginning of the cycle. The moon displays a complete set of phases every 29.53 days. (rounded) Half of that cycle ... the time that elapses between any phase and the re-appearance of the same phase ... is 14.77 days. (rounded)
One lunar cycle is when the moon goes from one phase through every other phase until it returns to the starting point. This takes 29.53 days.
A complete cardiac cycle.
M phase of the cell cycle
That's a period of 29 days. Since the moon's phases complete a cycle every 29.53 days, every possible phase of the moon was seen once during that span of dates.
a basic cycle that begins with an egg, then develops through a larva phase, a pupa phase, and finally, into an adult.
The moon will be a full moon, halfway through the lunar cycle.

The gametophyte and the sporophyte stages of a plant alternate to complete the life cycle.
Unfortunately this is not true. Every project has an end and every project life cycle has an end too. The last phase of any projects life cycle is the project closure/closing phase where the project is wrapped up and closed.
