I'd say the advantages would be : You can call wirelessly, pretty much everywhere : You can text, if you feel like paying for a plan, or just paying for the amount you use up. I suggest getting a plan, like if you want to text alot, get unlimited, its about $20 a month for At&T And be careful with stuff like MEdiaNet, that costs alot of money, even if you accidentally go to it.
