Well, there is another series called the Secret Series ( First book: The Name of This Book is Secret, Second Book: If You Are Reading This, It's Too Late, Third Book: This Book is Not Good For You). They are really witty and funny, and even though they are a close second to The Mysterious Benedict Society, nothing could ever be as good as it. You should check out the Secret Series (the author is Pseudonymous Bosch).
You can find free downloads of the Secret Seven books in the public domain on sites like Project Gutenberg or through libraries that offer eBooks for borrowing. However, please note that many of Enid Blyton's works are still under copyright, so be sure to check the copyright status before downloading.
