It is true that many business entities prefer to hire graduates of UP, UST, DLSU and ADMU despite that there are many graduates from other institutions of higher learning who are successful in their chosen fields. While other companies are open to hiring graduates from other schools, still there are companies that think that by maintaining their work standards, it is only by choosing the graduates of these schools that their expectations are met. This subsequently marginalizes the graduates of other schools who have to prove themselves many times over than those who came from these elite schools. In other words, the Big Four are the only ones who are able to properly prepare their graduates.
