The upthrust depends on the volume of object if volume is more the liquid displaced will be more and the force per unit area will increase and density is equal to mass per unit volume so by density the buoyancy.

What is another word to describe an object with neutral buoyancy?

It is average density.

What causes the buoyancy to increase or decrease?

Buoyancy force come from difference in density of the object and the surrounding. Buoyancy of the ship can change from the pay load inside its' space. More load per space reduce the buoyancy. For Balloon, buoyancy is change by increase temperature of gas inside to balloon since increase in temperature would cause gas to expand and had lesser density in its' cavity. In general, buoyancy increase or decrease by changing of density of the object or the surrounding medium.

What is the effect of density on the buoyancy of an object?

greater density tends to less buoyancy

What is the relationship between density and buoyancy for objects and substances?

The higher the density the lower the buoyancy.

How does density affect buoyancy of an object?

If the average density of an object is less than water (1.0 g per mL) it will float in water, and if it is more than 1.0g/mL it will sink in water. So the lower the density, the greater the buoyancy.

When does an object have positive buoyancy?

A body has positive buoyancy when its density is lower than the density of the fluid the body is in.

What are facts about buoyancy?

buoyancy has to deal with density, gravity, air, and water

How does the liquid density affects the buoyancy of objects placed in the liquid?

Yea

Does changing the mass or volume of an object change it's density?

Yes if the both are not changed proportionately, Density = mass/volume.

How does density effect bouyancy?

Buoyancy is the ability to float, so if the density is high, it'll hold up something. (see? FLOATING. BUOYANCY.)

The contact force that acts on objects in a liquid or gas and allows objects to float is called density or buoyancy?

buoyant force

What is buoyancy and how is it affected by density?

Buoyancy is the factor of things that float or sink. Density is related because if the object has more density than water, it will sink. But, if it has less density than water, the object will float.
