Sang Nila Utama I think!
Temasek.
1) He is the ruler of Palembang in Sumatra and he is the founder of Singapore. While he was hunting, he came upon an island (Temasek) which was very white. And he decided to take a look at the island. As he was heading to the island, a violent storm took place and the boat Sang Utama and crew were in was sinking. One of the boatman told Sang Utama that the boat was sinking because of his crown. After realizing that, Sang Utama threw his crown into the sea and everything went fine. The next day the ship anchored and the crew went to hunt. As they were hunting, they saw a strange lion and sang Utama knew that it was a good sign and he called the island Singapora.
