Plantation owner named Louis slept with a slave. His wife Amelia did too and got pregnant. He found out, wanted to kill the kid but he was sold into slavery somewhere else. Their marrige withers but they dont divorce.
Fast forward twenty years. Amelia hires a new slave named Augustus. She has an affair with him too. He starts leading a slave rebelion to kill the two owners. He also kills another slave, hector, who was plotting to stop the rebellion because he used to be Amelia's lover.
Augustus goes in, kills louis after louis tells him to go talk to amelia about augustus's mother. Augustus goes, she confesses she is her mother and hector was his father, then kills herself with the knife augustus used to kill louis.
