The dr prescribed Lorocet plus but the pharnacist filled the perscruiption with hydrocodone. Will it work as well as the prescribed med.?

It is essentially the exact same drug with a different name...hydrocodone is the generic version.

It sounds like you are talking about norco brand hydrocodone and no lorocet wouldn't be any better.

Percoset (oxycodone) is stronger than lorcet (hydrocodone) so you need to convince him that you need stronger medication. Tell him that you just arent getting the same pain relief as you used to get when you started taking the pills, he will probably either prescribe stronger hydrocodone pills or swith to oxycodone and prescribe Percoset.

Lorocet contains hydrocodone and Tylenol. It is a very dangerous drug for damage to internal organs. The 10/650 Blue Lorecet for example contains 10mg Hydrocodone (a couple molecules different from Oxycodone) and 650mg Tylenol. Do the math!
