Earthquakes occur underground and are felt on the surface. The center of an earthquake on the surface is called the epicenter, and the center of the earthquake underground, where it occurs, is called the hypocenter or focus.

Having data from only two recording stations makes it challenging to accurately determine the epicenter of an earthquake because you need at least three stations to triangulate the exact location. With just two stations, you can only ascertain a line along which the epicenter lies, but not a precise point. This limitation can lead to significant uncertainty in identifying the earthquake's origin. Additionally, the lack of triangulation could result in multiple potential epicenter locations, complicating response efforts.

That depends on what you define as 'above', in the literal sense then everything in the known universe lies above the earth. However, if you mean what lies directly above the north pole, which is perhaps the only way of defining 'above', then, from Earth, there are only a few stars, the most significant and well known of which being Polaris.
