Stomach
The stomach.
pharynx
it connects to the stomach
yes, they connect at the pharynx or more commonly called the throat. but every time you swallow the epiglottis (end of the tongue) covers the trachea (windpipe) so that the food or liquid can get to the esophagus hope that helps
The pharynx is connected to the stomach by the esophagus. The esophagus is a muscular tube in which food passes from the pharynx to the stomach (Here's a fact: The esophagus is usually about 25-30cm long).
The esophagus connects the pharynx to the stomach. In the conjunction between the pharynx, esophagus, and the larynx (windpipe), the larynx is covered by a flap of cartilage called the epiglottis to prevent food from traveling into the lungs. When this fails or closes too slow, the person experiences that the liquid/food "went down the wrong pipe".
The part that connects the mouth to the digestive tube is called the pharynx.
The pharynx is the section of the throat between the skull and the esophagus that propels food when swallowed into the esophagus. The epiglottis at the bottom of the pharynx pivots to send food to the esophagus or air into the lungs by way of the voice box (larynx).
The esophagus is a muscular tube that connects the throat, or pharynx, to the stomach. It carries food from the mouth to the stomach
