The fan on your air conditioner is not turning and the unit is blowing hot air but there is a humming sound any suggestions?

Check breakers or fuses in house. Make sure they are on or good. Make sure if you have an electrical disconnect out side that it is on. If you have a volt meter remove control panel on ac unit and check the wires from disconnect to unit to see if you have 240 volts present. If you have a blown fuse or tripped breaker you could have a dead short to ground in ac unit. BE CAREFUL

If humming sound is stronger when turning wheel to left, RIGHT BEARING IS BAD. If humming sound is stronger when turning wheel to right LEFT BEARING IS BAD.
