∙ 11y agoPancreas - insulin is secreted by the beta-cells of the Islets of Langerhans inside the pancreas. Insulin is responsible for converting glucose into glycogen (lowering the glucose/blood sugar levels) which is then transported to the liver for storage. Insulin also stimulates body cells to absorb more glucose.
