pancreas
Pancreas - insulin is secreted by the beta-cells of the Islets of Langerhans inside the pancreas. Insulin is responsible for converting glucose into glycogen (lowering the glucose/blood sugar levels) which is then transported to the liver for storage. Insulin also stimulates body cells to absorb more glucose.
The pancreas; it will secrete insulin.

Catalytic feedback
The blood sugar level is controlled mainly by two hormones.1.Insulin 2.Glucagon.Both hormones are secreted from Pancreas. When blood glucose level (sugar level) increases, Insulin is secreted from beta cells of islets of Langerhans in Pancreas. it increases the cellular uptake of glucose which in turn reduce the glucose level in the blood. When glucose level decreases in the blood, Alpha cells secrete Glucagon. It decrease the uptake of glucose by cells and increase glucose level.Over level of glucose also expelled through urine (Diabetes Mellitus)Mainly insulin & Glucagon are the controllers of blood glucose level.
the liver
The islets of Langerhans, part of the pancreas, secretes glucagon that raises the glucose level when it is needed to regulate the blood sugar level.
It is the glucose level (the amount of it) in your blood. Added 2/17/11: Glucose, which can also be listed as GLU on a lab report, is a chemical name for SUGAR. The normal level of glucose / sugar in your blood should stay between 70 - 110. Blood glucose levels that stay elevated above 125 over a period of time could mean that you have a disease called diabetes.
the pancreas and liver..
Insulin decrease glucose level.Glucogon increase glucose level.
When the level of blood glucose is low, thenglucagonis secreted from the pancreas, and the cells convert glycogen back into glucose.
i have a blood glucose level of 116 is that high
Catalytic feedback
The hormonal response to decrease in blood glucose is glucagon.... which actually increases the blood glucose level...
When your blood glucose levels fall., it means that the sugar in your body is dropping. You need to seek medical advice because you could go into a coma for too low of blood sugar.
There are many ways to treat glucose in the blood, as there is no cure for it. The first thing you need to do is constantly measure your blood glucose level. It is also important to watch what you eat and exercise.
Blood glucose is the level of sugars in the blood. Some glucose sugar in the blood is normal, however lower or higher than normal levels can indicate medical issues, particularly diabetes
You can check your glucose level at any one of the drug stores. Walgreens has a glucose machine and you can check your glucose level, blood pressure and cholesterol level.
HYPERGLYCEMIA. because epinephrine increases the blood glucose level by increasing glycogenolysis.
Blood sugar (or what is more specifically known as blood glucose level).
