"Santa Clause" originated from Saint Nicholas, who lived in Germany many centuries ago. He was a generous man who gave little children gifts. Saint Nicholas was real. However the name was changed in Dutch to "Sinter Klaas" And that's where Santa Clause comes from.

I cannot say if Santa Clause is real. But I think he is, because I sent Mrs. Claus a letter in the mail asking if I could have a photograph of Santa and I got a reply that was very detailed and it was only then that I truly believed. I don't consider that very accurate, but it made my heart feel warm. I think that if Santa is real that he doesn't stop individually at houses. He might not even fly around on a sleigh. Santa is only real if you want him to be real and if you believe he's real. If you don't think he's real, then he isn't.
