Cannon-Bard theory
is it the trigeminal nerve
i think you mean nervous systems; central (CNS), autonomic (ANS), and the sympathetic or para-sympathetic (SNS).
The abbreviation for the Central Nervous System = CNS.
administration of central anesthesia
Central and Peripheral nervous system.. further divided into sensory, motor and autonomic(sympathetic and parasympathetic)
A somatic reflex is where the body responds to stimulus. The message from the stimulus is sent through the central nervous system via the spine, and from there it travels to the brain.
Amphetamines are stimulants of the central nervous system and sympathetic division of the peripheral nervous system.
frequncy of action poteinals
The stimulus is detected by temperature or pain receptors in the skin. These generate impulses in sensory neurons. The impulses enter the CNS ( Central nervous system ) through a part of the spinal nerve called the Dorsal root.
The FREQUENCY of action potentials that are conducted into the central nervous system serves as the code for the strength of the stimulus. This frequency code is needed because the amplitude of action potentials is constatnt (all or none). Acting through changes in action potential frequency, tonic receptors thus provide information about the relative intensity of a stimulus.
it's happened when the bone condauction in both ears respond to the stimulus becuase of that we here the sound in the midline .
