Radio

Guglielmo Marconi's invention is known as the radio in the United States. He is credited with pioneering long-distance radio transmission and is often referred to as the father of radio. His work laid the foundation for wireless communication, which has evolved into the various forms of radio technology we use today.
Radio.
Marconi invented the radio. He invented a successful system of radio telegraphy in 1896. In 1895, Marconi invented equipment that transmitted electrical signals through the air (part of telegraphy and radio transmission).
guglielmo macroni did his work in Italy at a lab and also some of his more popular work of the radio in America during 1877 this is the address and name of where he REALLY worked...... Marconi Company, Ltd. Hall Street Chelmsford, Essex CM2 0JQ UK
As early as 1892, Nikola Tesla created a basic design for radio. He knew Marconi used some 17 patents to make his radio but Tesla radio was a longer range compared to Marconis. Most of us, think of Guglielmo Marconi as the father of radio, and Tesla is unknown for his work in radio. Marconi claimed all the first patents for radio, something originally developed by Tesla. Anyway the patent was turned in Tesla's favor in 1943 after authorities had proof from documents. Tesla made the radio first, the rest was patent use.
Radio. Or more specifically, wireless telegraphy.
He made the first radio but Guglielmo Marconi was initially credited, and most believe him to be the inventor of radio to this day. However, the Supreme Court overturned Marconi's patent in 1943, when it was proven that Tesla invented the radio years previous to Marconi. Radio signals are just another frequency that needs a transmitter and receiver, which Tesla also demonstrated in 1893 during a presentation before The National Electric Light Association. In 1897 Tesla applied for two patents US 645576, and US 649621. In 1904, however, The U.S. Patent Office reversed its decision, awarding Marconi a patent for the invention of radio, possibly influenced by Marconi's financial backers in the States, who included Thomas Edison and Andrew Carnegie. This also allowed the U.S. government (among others) to avoid having to pay the royalties that were being claimed by Tesla.
Marconi had 33 US patents and 6 UK patents, for developments in wireless telegraphy.
Several People, as the actual components (the discovery of radio waves, how to transmit/receive,actual radio device) were invented by multitudes of people, all who might claim to have invented the radio.
Yes. Television was invented in 1884 by Paul Nipkow. Television watching had become quite popular in the US by the 1950s. The radio, or "wireless," was born in 1895 when Italian physicist and inventor Guglielmo Marconi (1874-1937) experimented with wireless telegraphy. Both radio and television existed LONG before 1970.
He inveted a motor to produce alternating Current. This is where it all began, and what ultimately caused such a stir at the 1893 World's Expo in Chicago. A war was leveled ever-after between the vision of Edison and the vision of Tesla for how electricity would be produced and distributed. Also, Tesla developed and used fluorescent bulbs in his lab some 40 years before industry "invented" them. At the World's Fair, Tesla took glass tubes and bent them into famous scientists' names, in effect creating the first neon signs. cuz he invented a invention somthing none of us could do
