The Cretaceous period.
The cretaceous period.
The era for the age of dinosaurs is called the mesozoic era.
The earliest period that dinosaurs existed was the Triassic period, some 225 million years ago. These were not the huge dinosaurs of the later period. Most dinosaurs of that age were small creatures that ate meat and walked on hind legs. Shaaron

Mesozoic but it was split into 3- Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous. Dinosaurs lived from the late Triassic Period, Jurassic Period and Cretacious Period. Dinosaurs died in the Late Cretacious Period 65 Million Years Ago
The term "raptor" typically refers to birds of prey or, in a paleontological context, to theropod dinosaurs like Velociraptor. Dinosaurs, including raptors, existed during the Mesozoic Era, specifically from the late Jurassic to the end of the Cretaceous period, approximately 150 to 66 million years ago. The age of these dinosaurs lasted for several million years, with raptors being prominent in the late Cretaceous period just before their extinction.
Reptiles
We are living in a warm period of an Ice Age now, called an interglacial period. Dinosaurs became extinct over 65 million years ago but there have been many Ice Ages since they died out. There may even have been Ice Ages during the time of the Dinosaurs.
Grass only evolved late in the Cretaceous period so only the dinosaurs near the end of the age of dinosaurs would have had grass available. Remains of early grasses have been found in dinosaur coprolites of this period.
Mammals first evolved during the Mesozoic, the age of dinosaurs. After the dinosaurs died out, the Cenozoic began and mammals diversified until they dominated the land. Currently, we still live in the Cenozoic, so, technically, the Cenozoic could be called "the age of mammals."
the first dinos appeared 230mya during the late triassic period so it was well before the dinos time : )
The Mesozoic era is often referred to as the "Age of Reptiles" due to the dominance of reptiles, including dinosaurs, during this time period.
