The longest doubleheader, timewise, in MLB history was in 1995 between the Chicago White Sox and the Texas Rangers which lasted 7 hours 39 minutes.
Yes, Texas can withdraw from the United States but they will need to fight with Congress and the Legislature of the United States and Texas both most vote to withdraw.
The legislature in the United States is composed of two houses. One of these is the House of Representatives whose representatives are elected according to the population of their state. The other is the Senate which has two representatives from each of the 50 states.
I believe the first filibuster to arrive in Texas was Moses Austin.
In both the US Congress and the Texas Legislature, it's those bodies' rules which govern filibusters. In the US Congress, current rules allow a Senator to talk endlessly about a bill or until the Senate votes to invoke Cloture which takes at least 60 Senators voting for Cloture. Once Cloture is invoked, further debate on the bill by all Senators is limited to 30 hours. In the Texas Legislature, Senators can also talk endlessly on a bill, but they must remain at their desk, upright, and their words must be reasonably related to the bill. There is no Cloture. To end a filibuster, a majority of Senators must approve a point of order which is an allegation that the Senator who is filibustering violated a filibuster rule.

Ninth Texas Legislature was created in 1861.
They make, amend, or repeal laws that govern Texas. Some laws cannot be made, changed, or done away with by the Texas Legislature because the U.S Legislature forbids it.Hope this helped.
