Human beings were created by God to be happy with Him forever in Heaven. Our life on earth is just a very short introduction to our life, it is like the womb where we are growing up and becoming full Christians; our death is our entry into eternal life (or eternal damnation), like the birth canal.
Yes both words have same meaning!
Well, the meaning is roughly the same as it is today. To be killed is to be murdered, defeated in combat, been the victim of an accident, and so on. To be put to death is a death sentence, where you are specifically ordered dead.
It is same as meaning of life. Dunk it!
It means death ALWAYS happens, anything that lives, will die, 100%, Life, isn't ALWAYS guaranteed, you can walk out of your house and get hit by a bus next week. Life is the one thing out of the 2 that you can't say will always be, with death have that same conversation, you will ALWAYS die, if you are a believer of "the next life", it's because they know in THIS they will DIE. Life isn't 100%, Death is.
The words do not change their meaning in a sentence.
The meaning? Wouldn't it be the same? It would still mean, "I wish I were you."
My allegiance is with my lord ( My loyalty is with my lord {same meaning} )
no you cant they have a different meaning
The term for saying a sentence in a different way but with the same meaning is "paraphrasing."
