Which season are the days the longest?

summer. In the southern hemisphere the summer solstice (longest day) is around 22nd December. In the northern hemisphere it is around the 22nd July.

What brings about the season?

The Earth's tilt in relation to the Sun, so if you live on the northern hemisphere, from June to September the northern hemisphere is tilted towards the Sun creating Summer. Meanwhile, during the same months the southern hemisphere is tilted away from the Sun creating winter.

How does the fact the earth axis is tilted affect us?

The axial tilt affects the Earth by its seasons and it's Equator. When the Earth is at a certain point in its revolution around the sun the, say like a face, Northern Hemisphere leans back so that the Southern Hemisphere is exposed more to the light and therefor warmth. At another point in the Earth's revolution around the sun the opposite happens: the Northern Hemisphere leans in and gets more warmth--summer is here. This season flucuation also effects the Equator.

What season does the sun moves slower?

Complicated question. The sun doesn't move, as such, but it kind of wobbles a bit as the planets revolve around it. Only Jupiter has the sun wobble outside of it's own surface, so the wobble isn't much, either. I can assume that you may be referring to the earth's movement around the sun. In that case the earth is closer to the sun (perihelion) when it is winter in the northern latitudes, so it would move quicker, slower when the earth is at aphelion, in the northern hemisphere's summer.

Why is it warmer in the summer in the northern hemisphere?

Because during that season, the northern Hemisphere is closer to the sun. This is caused by the earth's axis tilt.

What season would a town in the southern hemisphere have during winter?

During the southern hemisphere's winter, it would be winter in that town. At the same time, it is summer in the northern hemisphere. If you mean what season does a town in the southern hemisphere experience when it is winter in the northern hemisphere, then the answer is summer, as the two hemispheres have opposing seasons.
