A lot of people say 11 but i think 17 is another solution. the difference of every other number goes up by 1.
ex. 2 6 3 8 6 12
the difference in the first number (2) and the third number (3) is one.
the difference in the second number (6) and the fourth number (8) is two.
the difference in the third number (3) and the fifth number (6) is three.
the difference in the fourth number (8) and the sixth number (12) is four.
if the pattern continues the answer is 17.
It looks like each Nth number is generated by adding the (N-1) number and the (N-3) number:
9 is the fourth number (N=4), so add the 3rd number (N-1) and 1st number (N-3): 6+3=9. Then 9+4=13, so the next number is 13+6=19
The next number would be 18. The sequence increases with +1, +2, +3... +5 etc.
13 + 5 = 18
18
(3+1=4 // 4+2=6 // 6+3=9 // 9+4=13 // 13+5=18)
The number which best completes the sequence below is:2 9 5 13 10 19 17?
that best completes the sequence 2 9 5 13 10 19 17 is 27.
18
The number which best completes the sequence below is: 2 9 5 13 10 19 17 ?
What number best completes the sequence 1 1/2 5 10 1/2 18
27
27
29,28
27. But that continues the sequence, it does not complete it.
27
13 20 12
18
