What browser are you using? I'll give the instructions for the most common ones; Internet Explorer 5,6, &7: 1. Start Internet Explorer. 2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options. 3. Click the General tab. 4. In the Address box, type facebook NOTE: If you want the page that you are currently viewing in Internet Explorer to be your home page, click Use Current. 5. Click OK.
The easiest way is to open Internet Explorer, highlight the address at the top (the line will start = http://) then right click and copy this address. Open firefox and paste the address you copied from explorer into the address line and hit return. This will take you to the same page you had for explorer (but in firefox). Now click on the 'Tools' menu at the top of firefox and select 'options'. Then click on the button which says 'Use current page' then click 'OK' at the bottom and you are done.

It's part of Microsoft Operating System and it has to connect to the internet in order to install updates to the users computer.
Typically, one needs to select Internet Options from the Tools menu in Internet Explorer. One should then find Home Page under the General tab, replace it with the desired Web address, and then click Apply. One can verify that the home page was successfully changed by restarting Internet Explorer.
