Why is methodology important in the implementation of information security?

A methodology is a formal technique that has a structured sequence of procedures that is used to solve a problem. Methodology is important in the implementation of information security because it ensures that development is structured in an orderly, comprehensive fashion. The methodology unies the process of identifying specic threats and the creation of specic controls to counter those threats into a coherent program. Thus, a methodology is important in the implementation of information security for two main reasons. (a) First, it entails all the rigorous steps for the organizations' employees to follow, therefore avoiding any unnecessary mistakes that may compromise the end goal (i.e., to have a comprehensive security posture). (b) Second, methodology increases the probability of success. Once a methodology is adopted, the personnel selected will be responsible for establishing key milestones and made ac- countable for achieving the project goals.

How do you find out if you have railroad pension owed to me?

In the first place, Im not going to be vaguely interested in finding out if I owe somethng to you: railroad pension or other wise. Its seems to me that it is your job to find out federal debt owed to you; not mine nor anyone else's* Nobody else either, on the other hand. (I suggest that you read your quetsion) If you are legally entitled to a railroad pension, you need to check with 1) the social security administration; go to your local office. The country is tripping with local security administration offices. YOU got a computer. It's really hard not to find the specic information *We dont have a self-enforcing legal system; YOU have to do something.

Where is the fuel pump located on a 1993 Mazda 626 and how do you change it and where do you find the fuel intake line to test the pressure if you are somewhat mechanically inclined but learning?

Very tough job for a beginner. The fuel pump is in the tank, which is under the backseat accessed from underneath the car. The tank must be dropped by removing the two straps holding it in place (hope you are very low on fuel 1st!) then all the hoses & wires disconnected then the tank is removed from under the car then you can access the plate in the top of the tank where the fuel pump is found inside. Some models may have access the this from inside the car underneath the rear seat. See Autozone.com "repair" link for access to ONLINE manuals specic to make & model

You just built a new computer and you are trying to install Windows XP When you run the installation you are getting a blue screen and the hard drive will not accept the new OS?

You turned on AHCI or RAID support in BIOS, or it was by default. In any case you have to either to turn it off, or find a driver for your RAID/AHCI. Then you have 2 choices. First, you will integrate the driver in winxp cd, or second which is easier. You will copy the dirver on a floppy disk (you have to have a floppy drive). And when you start to install Windows Xp, you will see something like "Press F6 to install drivers for specic devices" or something like that. Whe you see this phrase press couple times F6. And wait. It will take a while before you will see that it's working or it't not. You did everything right the system will tell you which AHCI/RAID controler you have and ask you to press Enter to continue. If it didn't workk try until it works.

What are legal defenses to breach of warranty?

The most common are that the problem is not covered within the specic written terms of the warranty, because the owner did something to void the warranty or that the warranty has expired. For example a car warranty would cover defects in manufacturing of a particular part, but not accidental damage to that part. If an engine part failed due to a defect, it would be covered, but if it were damaged in an accident, the defense would be that it is not covered under the warranty becacuse it was not a defect. A condition of a warranty might be that the car must be maintained properly, with oil changes, etc. If an engine part failed dure to improper or no maintenance, the defense would be that that damage is not covered under the warranty because the owner failed to keep the engine properly maintained. Another defense is that the damage occurred outside the time period or mileage limit of the warranty. If there is a 1 year warranty, an engine that fails on the last day of the warranty would be covered, but an engine thet failed 1 day later would not be covered. Same goes for any mileage limitation. If the engine has a 50,000 mile warranty and the engine fails at 50,000 miles it will be covered but if it fails at 50,000, the defense would be that it is no longer covered.
