Stealing is a serious problem for the stupider white recruits, who will find their hats, gloves, and TA-50 equipment seeming to "grow little feet" (as my drill sergeant liked to say) and walk away.
Most of the thieves you need to watch out for early on in the training cycle, are the black recruits (most of them learned how to be REALLY good thieves growing up in the ghetto) but by the end of the cycle EVERYONE is stealing from anyone who isn't sharp (sort of a "butterfly" effect, as private A steals from private B who then steals from private C to make up the loss so HE'S not the one who gets his company in trouble by being "out of uniform" at formation because somebody stole, say, his hat. It becomes a survival thing.)
Eventually the dumbest privates are constantly having their stuff jacked by everyone else, are constantly "out of uniform" or lacking needed equipment, and end up becoming the company whipping boys as a result. (They're almost always suburban white guys, for what it's worth.)
So, my advice to you if you're going into basic? You better hope that mommy and daddy didn't give you any stupidity genes (the most common form of which, are genes which make you stupid under stress. So maybe it's not "stupidity" genes really, but weakling genes you need to worry about having.)
So, if you have good DNA... you won't have any problems in basic (due to theft, or any other reason!)
Also - watch your stuff in the presence of black guys, at least early on in the training cycle. Good luck in your quest to become a soldier, marine, or airman!

helps you get ready for the real thing...running,skills,officer training,basic training,etc. and if you were to go to the military..navy for example...after basic training and being a semen apprentice you can skip bein a "semen" to a petty officer 2nd class that easy

If you are inquiring about going to either a Basic Training the real military training then all you have to do is enlist in the Military. But if you are to young then you could sign up to the program for kids( United States Naval Sea Cadets, United States Army Cadets, United States Naval League Cadets, Junior Marines... ect.) They will in turn take you through a sample Basic Training that is just like the real thing. Or you could just ask the branch you want to join if there is anyway you may join a division in training and sit in with them during their basic.
