Since you placed this in the Greek Mythology forum, I'll assume you meant the Messenger of the Gods. Hermes and Iris were the messengers of the gods, with Hermes usually acting on behalf of Zeus, and Iris on behalf of Hera. Iris had no Roman counterpart, but Hermes' was Mercury. They had no successors.
