You are either talking about Parthenon which is the temple of the Greek Goddess Athena or the Acropolis of Athens which is also know as Cecropia.
I think it was Acropolis, (ACRO=high, POLIS=city) and I know Athena's Temple was the Parthenon, and the Parthenon was on Acropolis, so I hope this helps! :)
