Throughout the history of ancient Egypt there have been many temples to Anubis.
There were, in ancient Egypt many temples to Anubis, his chief cult cities were Cynopolis and Lycopolis (called so by the ancient Greeks).
Some of the finest buildings in ancient Greece were the Parthenon, the temple of Zeus in Olympia, the temple of Hera in Olympia, the temple of Artemis, the temple of Posideon at Sounion, the Erechtheum, and the Temple of Apollo Epicurius at Bassae.
Spartans built a theater called the Temple of Woshedow. King Utelin made this temple. Spartans also created a monument of King Utelin to show their pride and effort.

The Temple of the ancient Greek Goddess Athena is called Parthenon.
Stonehenge is in a circle because it represents a calendar or cyles of the seasons. However some argue that it was once the temple of "Apollo." The temple of Apollo was a circular temple of standing stones and was located in Hyperborea. Hyperborea may have been the ancient name for Great Britain.

Today the temple of Solomon is not there but in its place a mosque is standing.
Actually, the western wall was the standing remnant of the Jewish temple complex that stood in ancient Israel (Judea). The Romans destroyed the temple, but the western wall which is still standing today in Jerusalem, remained standing. Today, it is a place of prayer for Jews.

The innermost sanctuary of the ancient Greek temple or shrine is called 'Αβατον - Avaton meannig impermissible to enter. Only priests were allowed to enter there.
