Sometimes a tragedy is hard to understand from any perspective. Car accidents happen and I think everyone pretty much understands that accidents do happen. Earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc. happen as an act of nature and I think most people understand these kinds of things. A tragedy that is difficult to understand, and I would think many people feel this way, is when a person takes his or her own life. Sometimes it is a person that seems to have it all. Sometimes it is a person who has nothing. Sometimes it is a person that you know in your heart and soul could not possibly do this sort of thing. It is in this case, that it is difficult to understand and/or believe....from any perspective. A good friend's sister took her own life last year. No one knew she was so troubled that she felt that was her only way to end her pain. It is still difficult to understand. Nothing is ever so horrible to do this kind of thing. There are other ways to get through it and there are caring people in the world who can help you through things. All you have to do is reach out when you feel so troubled that you do not want to live any longer. There will be someone there who cares.
