Don't really think so, the 306 has one short and one long drive shaft with an intermediate bearing carrier. You could try a dirct comparison side by side.

True or false- many social darwinists believed that giving dirct help to the poor or less capable worker was requierd for social progress?

False. Many social Darwinists believed in a laissez-faire approach, where they thought that helping the poor or less capable would interfere with natural selection and hinder social progress. They believed that those who were fit to survive and succeed would do so on their own, without outside help.

Can a person file a Military Protective Order against someone for a third party?

Unable to determine exactly what is being referred to in this question. If the question is referring to something contained in US Military Law (i.e.: The Uniform Code of Military Justice = UCMJ), whether or not "protective orders" are codified in the UCMJ is doubtful. I do not believe that there is such a provision in military law. To control the unwanted actions of a subordinate member of the military one has only to present the allegations to that military members Commanding Officer, who can then simply issue a direct order to the alleged offender not to have contact with the complainant. DIsobedience of a dirct order IS a prosecutable violation of the UCMJ. Nevertheless - even if such a provision DID exist in military law, it would be effective and enforceable only on military installations. While you are off-base the civilian police do not have the authority to enforce orders, rulings, or findings of military law. As to the second part of the question: No. Unless the party you wish to protect is a juvenile (in which case a parent or guardian would file the petition FOR the juvenile), or an adult adjudged mentally incompetent (in which case the guardian of that person would file the petition), you may not file a complaint FOR another adult. That person would have to file the petition themselves.

What is revere ware copper lacquered with?

I don't believe any coating was placed on the "vintage" copper bottom RW. I know of know coating , certainly no coating that would have been economical or even available in the 30-50's , that would not char and make a nasty mess when exposed to dirct flame. If any coating was ever applied it was probably only put on at the time of manufacture as a temporary coating to prevent oxidation of the copper until first use - possibly a paraffin or plant based wax originally , maybe a silicon in later years. I wipe the copper bottoms of my RW with a sponge pretty well soaked with dishwashing soap. This will keep the shine from oxidizing and also makes the bottoms easier to keep clean, especially if you use a gas stove.

What are the names of the real soldiers in World War 2 who were portrayed in the film 'Stalag 17'?

Karen, I would suggest doing two things. First, consult your local American Legion post or VFW hall. Tell them your grandfater's unit and that he wants to contact other veterans. People in those oraganizations have the best chance of knowing someone who knows someone who was in a particular unit. Secondly, there are a number of Usenet newsgroups dedicated to history and to veterans. Find them and post messages on them saying you are trying to contact veterans of the 365th bomb squadron of the 388th bomb group out of Knettishall. Mention that your grandfather is trying to contact old buddies. There is a reasonable chance the information will get to the right people. Michael Montagne Karen, The association address for the 388th Bomb Group is: Bittner Snead (Secretary) 3449 SW 328th St. Federal Way,WA 98023 Na href="http://www.bitsneadesq@aol.com You also might like to look at the next site, which if contacted might offer some help. axpow Dear Karen I think my father was in Stalag 17. His name was Allan Egan and he was the pilot of a Lancaster Bomber and was shot down over Germany. I am looking for his log book which is somewhere around here and I will get back to you once I have more information. Please emaqil me dirct if you wish. Regards Keryl Egan I can only include these facts, in case someone can use them to track down some of the actual fliers. From 1978 - 79 and again from 1981-1992, I lived in a Baltimore County suburban row house community called Knettishall. At the one end of the row house development was a dedication plaque, later stolen, to the 388th bomb group of Knettishall, England and the builders of the Maryland community. They named the streets after the local English towns, hence Thetford Road, Hardwick Road, etc., etc. Later, during the early 2000s, I was able to visit the Air Force Museum in Dayton, at Wright-Patterson, and the memorial to the 388th. Also, I found my way through the narrow country lanes passed Bury St. Edmunds and found the dedication plaque and what remained of the field at Knettishall Heath, in East Anglia. I also know from another volume on B-17s by Philip Kaplan that Walt Disney studios designed the logo for the 388th.
