Sorry, but it won't. Subaru's changed their headlight shape every 3 years or so. They made a change around April 1997, so the one's before that are different from the ones after.
its in the fuel tank if it a wagon you get at it on the drivers side in the boot by the spacesaver

Yes you can ,I have done it only the other direction(98 to a 91). You will have to switch seat tracks to accomadate seat belt buckle.
Every car has many grounding points and a text description here would be useless. You can obtain a Subaru Legacy service manual from eBay sellers for less than $10. The manual will include complete wiring diagrams that identify grounding points.
