It was called the Mayflower and some other ship, which was called the Speedwell, which was delayed from the voyage because of construction problems.
The Mayflower.
The Mayflower.
The Mayflower took 65 days. Christopher Columbus' voyage to "The New World" took about 60 days, also.
It took exactly 65 days from England to Provincetown Harbor on Cape Cod.
the Mayflower
he didnt find the treasure and the third ship recked.
Because it was the ship that took the pilgrims to Massachusetts.
No because it was often tossed into storms and the illnesses took some lives.
Samuel de Champlain took his first voyage in 1603
The Mayflower's average speed was approximately 2.67 miles per hour. This means the ship travelled a mile approximately every 22 minutes on average. Keep in mind that the Mayflower {like all ships under sail} must sometimes use tacking, which means the ship sometimes has to travel in a zig-zag fashion because of the angle of the wind relative to the desired general direction that the ship wants to go in. The Mayflower voyage from England to Plymouth Harbor, Massachusettes, took 65 days.
