Information correction: 1: Larry was Theodore's grandson. 2 Violet was his wife. 3: His children are, Teddy LaVern Checkos, Dean Rudolph Checkos (me) and Darlene Johanna Checkos.

It was called the Moorewood tilting arbor table saw. Mr. Checkos also held patents on welding rod holders that were easier for the women to use in the ship Yards during WWII. This device also was under the name of the Moorewood products. The welder I believe was named the Morweld welding rod holder.
