It can be transferred in three ways: Conduction, convection, and radiation.
Conduction is transfer through a substance by contact between atoms. Convection is transfer in a gas (air) by causing air currents due to density effects. Convection can also happen in fluids like water. Radiation is by electromagnetic waves at the infra-red frequencies.
example water in a pot is cool its particles dont have much kinetic energy so its teperature is low, but the particles in the pot when it is hot it has more kinetic energy the waters temerpature is high!
hope this helps!
From higher energy to lower energy (i.e., higher temperature to lower temperature).
three ways:
1. conduction.
2. convection.
3. radiation.
I think it is radiation, conduction and convection
Thermal energy transfers by conduction, convection, and radiation.
Conduction, convection, and radiation.
convection, conduction and radiation
Thermal energy can be transfered with three ways Conduction,Convection Radiation
It can be transferred by three different methods:* Conduction * Convection * Radiation
Three words to describe thermal energy are:EnergyHeatTemperature
It can be transferred somewhere else via one of the three methods of heat transfer: convection, conduction, or radiation.
Thermal energy is the internal energy of a system in thermodynamic equilibrium by virtue of its temperature. A hot body has more thermal energy than a similar cold body, but a large tub of cold water may have more thermal energy than a cup of boiling water. Thermal energy can be transferred from one body, usually hotter, to a second body, usually colder, in three ways: conduction , convection, and radiation. Insulator

There are three ways to transfer heat energy (thermal energy); convection involves transferring matter, the other two methods (conduction, radiation) don't.

Three examples:1) Anything falling under gravity. Gravitational potential energy is being transferred into kinetic energy, i.e. speed.2) In a turbine. Moving the rotors round on a turbine turns kinetic into electric energy.3) Electric cooking hobs. The electrical energy is dissipated to release thermal energy (heats up).
