timing the engine is done thru the ecu but u could unbolt ur distributor and rotate it to adjust your timing. but be careful. dont advance to much more otherwise u will have knocking problems

First you take out all your spark plug wires, you dont have to remove y our spark plugs. Then you take the valve cover off and set your timing to TDC (top dead center) then you take the timing chain and gears out and the cam(s) out and unbolt the head.
