The connectors aren't gold - they're gold plated, and microscopically so. If you could melt all the gold off of the connectors in a standard set of Monster Cables, by weight, it would be worth about a buck - buck and a half. If that. When I say the amount of gold is microscopic, I mean it's microscopic.
There are too many variables to say what gold is worth in cash. The price for gold changes daily, but also it depends on the weight and type of gold you have (10, 14, 18, 24 karats?) After you know what you have in gold, you can research online for the current price. If selling, you will want to get the rate of the gold buyer. Not all but some gold buyers do put their prices online.
gold is worth more

Id say that 13 grams of gold is worth a lot of money i'm no expert but its worth at least 100$ but i'd say it could be worth like 1,000 dollars take my word for it if you sell it its bound to be a lot of money so if you have gold i wold totally sell it take my words.
There is no way to determine that without a scale, other than to say that the ring at 14 carat is 58.33% gold and 41.67% other metals. The worth of gold is determined by the carat and (mass) weight. If you have an accurate weight, there are a number of on line sites you can go to where you can get the "melt value," that is value of the gold if it were melted down. Or, you can take it to a local jeweler who can give you a purchase value, and might be able to appraise it. Jewelry that is over 100 years old is sometimes worth more as is than the melt value.
If it is a solid gold one with solid gold bracelette, and is in near mint condition, it will be worth approximately £1000 - £1,200. If it is the gold plated version, it is worth very little, say £25 - £30 Hope this is helpful, Ray
If i were to be totally honest, i were to say that there is no such thing as 2,324 karat gold.
Volume of a conventional large chicken egg: 52 ml, or 52 cc Density of gold: 19.3 grams/cc Weight of gold egg: 19.3 * 52 = 1004 grams, or 1.004 Price of gold: 49745 $/kg So it's accurate to say a pure gold egg will cost about: $50,000
"Land is the only thing in the world worth working for, worth fighting for, worth dying for because it's the only thing that last."
It depends on how much quantity of it you have. For the sake of argument, if we assume 1 standard Troy Ounce, then for 24karat pure gold it would be as of 4th July 2010 about $1200. 14 karat gold is 14/24 is rougly 58% pure gold so 1 oz of it would be worth: 1200 * 58% = $700 Regards Chris
