There are petroglyphs (rock art) in Utah and other parts of North America that compare directly with cave art in France and other parts of Europe. This should not be considered surprising, since pre-contact native Americans throughout the Americas were living essentially Neolithic lifestyles. Rock art at McDonald Creek Canyon, Colorado may have been produced by the Ute or Paiute people and it is very similar to the cave paintings at Lascaux, France and to some Australian aboriginal work. Cassis blames the Romans for being so weak, therefore allowing Caesar to be as powerful as he is.CASSIUSAnd why should Caesar be a tyrant then?Poor man! I know he would not be a wolfBut that he sees the Romans are but sheep. He were no lion were not Romans hinds. Those that with haste will make a mighty fireBegin it with weak straws. What trash is Rome,What rubbish and what offal, when it servesFor the base matter to illuminateSo vile a thing as Caesar! But, O grief,Where hast thou led me? I perhaps speak thisBefore a willing bondman. Then I knowMy answer must be made. But I am armed,And dangers are to me indifferent.
Mc Escher and Victor Vasarely was optical artists but had different styles in their optical art.
Whiteley belonged to the movement usually referred to as 'Julius Caesar' This is due to him being obsessed with Caesar, often stating "I wish to conquer the world and build a shrine to Caesar, I do this through my art." This was a very common movement throughout the 1950s.
