I run a stock rear sprocket and 15 front. does great for 500 ft drags
approx 87mph with 118lb rider, free flowing exhaust, carb tune, pod filters, 3x18 tires, 35 tooth rear sprocket, 500 ft above sea level slightly down hill with a motor that is moderately worn out
I've found that a 13 tooth is better for 300' dirt drags. In sand, i prefer the stock 14, because the 13 makes 4th and 5th gear too similar
i assume you mean the cr500. i have one and it all depends on the gearing(sprocket size) if you ran a small rear and large front and had enough ba**s it could push 180 but typically id say 78-80 mph. but it gets there fast!!! its the adrenaline rush of a lifetime wide open on a 500. its pretty close to an f-16 for the ground
He/she pays me 500 dollars a tooth! I'm stink'n rich
Here's the setup on my 2007 polaris predator 500. -Trinity Racing Stage IV full exhaust -170 jets -K&N air filter -Moose 15 tooth front sprocket. hope this helps.
