Great! I managed to find the answer myself. Users cannot switch the QWERTY keyboard to multitap keyboard in the iPhone. They need an app called MultiTap Text to do the trick. This app can help users type the text content with the Multitap keyboard and it lets them SMS or mail the content straight from the app.
