well..............what are the codes?
How do I get engine codes for 1999 toyota corolla?
I want to know the wiring color codes of the Toyota corolla 2006 car radio.

I don't know much about engine codes, but my 1997 Toyota Corolla has had trouble starting. I have been told that the sounds it makes suggest the solenoid is at fault.
it requires an obdII scan tool. some big part stores provide this service for free. call around!
Try either disconnecting the battery for about 10 mins. or have vehicle scanned to determine problem and/or have codes cleared
Dealer or paint shops.

find the "diagnosis" connection box under the hood left side of engine. open; attach jumper wire to "e1" + "te1" & count flashes of check eng light to obtain codes.
if it says "service engine soon" yes, there is a problem. probably not severe but it should be scanned for engine codes and repaired at the nearest opportunity.
Take it to auto zone and have the codes read for free.
Find out what's wrong with the engine. Use a code scanner to find out what diagnostic codes have been stored. That should give you an idea what's wrong, then fix the problem and the light should go out.
