Can you explain the problem you are having?
Unless it has a BOP (Buick/Olds/Pontiac) motor such as a 307, rotation will be clockwise.
no comment i just need the answer where is the number one spark plug on the 307 distributor cap
Yes it will.
Check your points and condenser. Make sure the timing is right and check if your Cap is bad
307
no I respectfully disagree. I am running 305 Chevy TBI heads on my 1971 Chevy 307 and all is very well.
The distributor in a 307 Oldsmobile engine rotates in a clockwise direction. This is common for many General Motors engines from that era. Proper timing and alignment are crucial for optimal engine performance, so ensuring the distributor is set up correctly is important during installation or maintenance.
307 CID Oldsmobile engine
yes
A rebuilt motor if done right is just as good as a new motor.
If your distributor is in the right place. The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 and it goes clock wise on the top of the distributor cap
Top right of the distributor cap (if your facing the firewall), and the plug goes to the left (driver side) of the engine.
