Sounds like a plugged catalitic converter. When they heat up they block air from getting by and the engine will not run.
To find the answer of that problem, you should research it on answers.com or somthing. Wait a minute....
Check the fuel filter.
if it won't start at all after running it could be vapor locked. try opening the gas cap for a minute and see if that works.
Could be the fuel pump or the filter. I had a similar problem for my 1995 explorer xlt.
Check for fuel (bad fuel pump or clogged fuel filter) Check for spark (bad or weak ignition coil)
Below oil level if it leaks with the engine off and on A oil cooler lin, filter, head gasket and so on if it only leaks when running
Turth:have you ever done somthing you are never supposed to? Dare:hop on one foot for 1 minute.
The first thing I would do is replace the fuel filter and make sure the fuel pump is actually running when it dies. The pump may be overheating and shutting down. A clogged fuel filter will cause this.
This cat may have a respiratory problem.
