What was the impact of World War II event on the world's economy?

In Japan, the Japanese were aided by the US and they were able to recover substantially fast. The US sent businessmen and scientists to aid them in their recovery of the economic base. Europe was nearly bankrupt in all the nations. Germany was bankrupt. They had to rebuild their economy and rebuild a nation which had been reduced to rubble. The US created the Marshall Plan to assist nations affected by World War 2. It provided loans, monetary gifts, seeds, farm equipment and building equipment and food or medications. This did help Europe, part of Africa and Asian nations to reconstruct and repair their economies.

How did World War 2 change Asia?

World War 2 exposed Asian to an entirely different way of living, functioning, governing and broke the wall of isolationism. It was impetus to their freedoms and improved economies. China and Japan and many of the Asian nations were isolated from the rest of they world. They lived in an agrarian age with ancient methods of farming and building and governing. Once World War 2 happened the Asian nations were exposed to modern machinery, planes, vehicles and moderns methods (values and ideas too). The colonial nations of Asia decided they wanted self-rule, freedom and democracy with all the benefits of modernization. Most of them did gain their liberation from their imperialist nations such as the United Kingdom, France, The Netherlands and Germany. Viet Nam (it was Indochina then) had to fight for nearly thirty years to gain freedom from France and they were overtaken by the communists. China became a communist nation. India and other surrounding nations were given their liberty by the UK. The Asian nations spent the next 20 years trying to catch up with the rest of the world with economic development and modernization. It was hard for them considering they had operated and lived according to their old ways for many centuries. They also had to learn the Western Culture and ways of relating to others. Conducting business according to western ways was hard for them too. They had to develop their own militia, new governments and many Asian learned to speak English so they could become part of the rest of the world. Defeating isolationism was difficult for them but they did succeed. Today many of the Asian nations are as modern and sophisticated as the western world. Some of them excel the big western nations in technology, medicine, business and world trade. They are catching up with the naval superpower of the US and other nations. Asian cultural values and goals were radially altered while still maintaining their heritages. They began to dress like westerners. The young people adopted the values of the young people of the United States, British Isles, European nations and Australia. They adapted to the marital and dating ideals, the music and entertainment amusements and the dancing styles. It took the older generations to come to accept the western ways and ideals. This did cause friction with the younger generations and the older generations. This problem was true of the Japanese, Chinese, and other Asian who lived in the US and Canada too. Education was drastically improved in all the Asian nations. Girls and Women were finally allowed to attend schools and colleges. This helped the nations to improve in their social structure and economic structures. Some of the education also helped to reduce the overpopulation but some of the nations could not and would not give up their old ways of thinking about population growth. Today the Asian culture has expanded to the world's nations and are enjoyed by the people they expose their foods, arts, clothing, and old medicinal methods. They have managed to successfully adapt western ways and blend them with their old ways. There is one area they are far behind however. That is of environmental safety and protection: example China's air is lethal and their factories are examples of every thing you should not do in the areas of safety, cleanliness and air protection.
