Try checking the fuse(s) first, then suspect the hazard switch or the actual flasher, if it has one.
The signal flasher relay may be at fault, swap it with the emergency flasher relay to see.

The flasher activation button is on the right hand side of the steering column. Push on the centre to activate, pull on the ring to turn off.

after installing led lights my 08 dodge 2500 the turn signal lights start flashing slow for 5 or 6 times then speed up to fast . the emergency flasers flash ok . hooking them up i used separate lights for the brakes , they are not hooked in with the turn signals
