well he doesn't really have a fav food but his favorite thing to hunt are lions. he talks about how people (or well not people but his vampire family )said that he hunts like a lion also. and if you've read the twilight saga he mentions lions several times.

After this he says that a better way to explain would be if as he was a heroin addict instead and that Bella would be his extact brand of heroin.
in the film version of twilight edward says that his diet would be like a human living on tofu, keeps you strong but doesn't satsify you
