My dad had one of these from his great grandfather and it was made in 1900-1903 the shot gun he had it was a pheasant gun. that is all I know Actually the A J Aubrey was made from 1905-1915. Im sure you were aware it was sold through sears robuck and Montgomery Wards

This was sold by Sears , made by Stevens between 1912 and 1942. It was not made by Browning.
No way to tell- but they are shown in the Sears 1902 catalogue. Aubrey was one of the trade names used by Sears, along with Barker and W. Richards.
