He falls in love with a statue he carved because it was so beautiful. Venus rewards him by bringing it to life. Pygmalion names it "Galatea".
In the Greek myth of Pygmalion, he falls in love with a statue he sculpted because he is disillusioned with the women in his society. His love for the statue, Galatea, is a reflection of his desire for an ideal and unattainable love.
You cant, if they Dont love you the chances are they never will. you can make them admire you but never to truly love you.
yes but do not get into it with him or her that is crazy
As in the mythical figure Pygmalion? If so his weakness was that in his quest for perfection (aka the woman he sculpted, who was so perfect and beautiful he fell in love with her) he overlooked inner beauty, and instead only looked at outer beauty. When he pleaded to the gods to bring his sculpture to life (and they granted it to him) the woman turned out to not be perfect - which created dissatisfaction. Therefore Pygmalions shallow view of perfection in itself was flawed - deeming beauty as what constitutes perfection.
Aphrodite sent Eros to Psyche because Psyche's beauty was threatening to overshadow hers, causing jealousy and anger. Eros was tasked to make Psyche fall in love with something hideous, but he ended up falling in love with her instead.
It can mean many different things. They could just be tired and fall asleep on you or they could fall asleep on you in a love & affectionate way. Depends to be honest. Hope this helps!
Hardly. Pygmalion was a misogynist king and sculptor, whose punishment for hating women was to fall in love with his own statue of Aphrodite.
His name was Pygmalion.
Pygmalion
she was the embodiment of his ideal women crafted over an extended period amount of time which isolated him from society causing him to have an attachment to his creation
This is a story from ancient Greece. It tells of how Pygmalion fell in love with a statue that he created when he decided that women were inferior.
Galatea is a statue in the play "Pygmalion" by George Bernard Shaw. Pygmalion sculpted Galatea and fell in love with her.

Okay so a girl can fall in love. Its not exactly possible for a kid in 1rst threw 3rd and under to really fall in love because they shouldn't even feel that way at that age and they haven't even hit harmones but it is possible for a girl to fall in love if that is what you meant.
