speed and direction
The official unit for speed is meters/second. Any other combination of units, where you divide distance/time, may also be used. One such unit that is commonly used is kilometers/hour. Some units used for speed don't explicitly reference distance and time; for example, a certain fraction of the speed of light in a vacuum, or the unit called "knots" which is used for ships.
speed =distance/speed .units to express speed are m/s and km/hr.
Units of measure are used to measure anything: length or volume, mass or speed, pressure or force etc.
A time graphs units is what is used for the y-axis. This is what show the speed in time.
the units for rotational speed are radians / sec or degrees / sec
The base units are:Meter (m) - Used for lengthKilogram (kg) - Used for mass, and equivalent to 1000 gramsSecond (s) - Used for timeOther units include:Ampere (A) - The measure of an electrical currentKelvin (K) - Used for temperatureSpeed units are just a speed unit/a time unit.km/hm/smi/h
Any speed is distance covered/time to cover the distance .Whenever you calculate a speed using this definition, the answer you getis the average speed during the time it took to cover the distance. The same units are used to describe any speed, whether it's average orinstantaneous speed.(any unit of length)/(any unit of time) is a perfectly good unit of speed.
In order to measure speed, a unit for distance and a unit for time must be used. Common units with which speed is expressed are meters per second (m/s), miles per hour (mph), and kilometers per hour (km/h).
Both velocity and speed are measured using units of distance per unit time, such as meters per second (m/s) or kilometers per hour (km/h).
Instruments used to measure speed include radar guns, LIDAR devices, and GPS units. These instruments work by calculating the speed of an object based on its distance traveled over time.
Japan use Metric units to Km/H or kilometers per hour.
