Call Blaupunkt or the current manufacterer. The will most likely ask you to send it in for the codes. Otherwise you will have to go to dealer and they may charge you 125.00. This used to be free but whatever?
You can usually remove the radios be cutting wire clothes hangers into a "U" shape and inserting them into holes. Once inserted, kinda pull outward toward the right and left car doors. This will release the locks inside the stereo. Then slowly pull outward. Mark and remove the wires carefully from the back.

In the Audi booklet there is a number u must enter or call Audi dealership with Vin number
unless you have the 4 digit number you cant...a visit to Audi is the only way
you turn the key on and off 25 times and the radio works as good as new.
You need the radio code- found in the owner's manual portfolio.
mostly audi concert 2 radio's
You have to call your nearest Audi dealership and address your problem to them. Have your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) ready. They will ask you for it. If the radio is not originally from the car, you will have to have the serial number to the radio ready. They will after tell you the code via phone.
with the key
If it is similar to the 2002 TT, then you need to purchase the "keys" to unlock the radio. There should be two small slots on both sides of the unit where you put the keys in. You'll hear and feel a click when it is unlocked, then pull the unit out. Or you can have the radio installation guys at Best Buy do it for about $10. I believe the keys to Audi and VW are the same.
Hit the AM radio button. You did not say it was a factory radio though.
No, they do not have the same chassis.
1999 Audi a4 obd 2 conector problem
The Audi A4 platform with some radio systems had the radio power the two front speakers. The rear speakers were powered by an amplifier which is actually attached to the speaker with all of these wires that you see. I know in my 1999 Audi A4 car without the bose package this was the setup. The wires are for audio, power for the amp, radio turnon signal, etc. Some of the newer audi's I believe still use this type of a setup but I do not know exactly which ones.
