To go to college while joining the navy is to go to a NROTC (Naval Reserve Officers Training CORPS) college. Which is a college that has navy affiliation and you can take a class learning about navy military customs, traditions, and technology which upon graduating college you will be in the navy ranked as an officer and will have to serve usually 4 years of front line duty in the navy. While you go to college you will get paid for being in the navy and you can major anything you want to, however the navy will choose where you will be put and the job you will be doing. A link to see the NROTC colleges is- http://www.navy.com/careers/nrotc/colleges/ (you have to copy and paste it) Another way of going to college and joining the navy is to go to the Naval Academy, which is the same as a NROTC college only it has majors that focus strictly on jobs in the navy. In both you will graduate as an officer and will have to go to boot camp either during the summer or immediately after graduation.
