It could be as simple as a wheel balance problem. Jack up each wheel and examine the inside for mud and debris. There could have been evenly distributed mud before the car wash but some of it could have been washed away leaving the wheel unbalanced.
It's also possible that you knocked off a wheel weight and now the tires are out of balance.
When driving on gravel you can lose control of your car because the gravel is so loose. The best way to drive on gravel is to go slow.
The gold pan was used as a tool to separate the gold from the other river gravels. Gold is more dense than the gravel and will works its way down through the gravel under the right conditions. The gold pan helps provide these conditions. A miner would fill the pan with gravel and water. He or she would then agitate the material in the pan by shaking it side to side or in a circular motion. This would loosen up the gravel and allow the gold to sink to the bottom of the pan while the litter gravel was washed out of the pan by the moving water.
Go down lower gears and press brake gently.
Yes, it is very important to rinse gravel before adding it to the tank to get rid of dust and debris. The tiny particles in the gravel can also just plain make a tank look bad until they have a chance to settle over a period of a few days. A large spaghetti strainer works well to rinse gravel and remove any of the smaller particles and debris.
Use a piece of window screen put pea gravel on it and wash with a garden hose till it is clean. good cleaning.
We don't have the area of the driveway so it would be hard to say. Grass will not grow in compacted gravel so you would have to remove all the gravel and possibly bring in top soil before laying the sod.
slow down
It depends. Have you just started your tank? Have you recently changed your filter? If you just started your tank then you shouldn't worry too much. However if the color isn't coming out of the water after about a month or two you might want to consider changing 50% of your water. Also, if you bought gravel from Sears or just got gravel from rocks outside your house, the gravel might be dirty and you will have to start all over.
I have always had gravel at the base of my Betta breeding tanks. The male will collect the eggs before they reach the gravel provided the tank has at least 10 inches depth of water.
