Iraq -- Mesopotamia lies between the Tigris and Eurphrates rivers, which mostly flow through modern-day Iraq.
The most famous capital of Mesopotamia (or "land between two rivers") was Babylon. At the present time, the country of Iraq occupies what once was the Kingdom of Mesopotamia.
It is a historical area now. There may be a visitor center or a museum at the location. I know they do a reenactment there every year.
